I figured I would take some time out of doing my usual bullshit to post a very vague update about what is in store for the future of this project and it's abused sister project. 

Despite stating I would shift to working towards a alpha 2.5 there were a few features and issues that have really been nagging me with the Alpha 3 update on the new engine. As such, I ended up working a lot more on that then I thought I would in early August.

Although, I'm still not ready to go into further details I will say that aside from the obvious pixel art and sound support alpha 3 now a lot of neat trick up it's sleeves when it comes to area's "momster guardians" that rarely have your best interest in mind, a sanity meter, as well as new embarrassing traps and a new crafting mechanic.

Unfortunately, as I stated to in the past, these new additions still require serious amount of time spent on art & debugging . Realistically we will not see a Alpha 3 release 2020 even if I do cut a substantial amount of planned content. But, there is a very good I will just touch up alpha 2 with some ideas and features of alpha 3 as a "alpha 2.5" by the tail end of 2020 after I do a big update on the mlp platformer I am more known for.  

I do however intend to fix up that ill-fated "Spooky Depravity Quest" Interactive Fiction game I largely did in two weekends last year for Halloween but never released due to me being unhappy with a few section... Or I might just decide not to release it and have artificial flavors disown me a second time.
