I can't find the new stages and I downloaded both V2 and the Halloween small rar. Did I miss a step?

halloween small is one of the four new stages. As I stated earlier the comiple failed so I uploaded that instead.

yup. I am going to expand on them now that they slipped I will do another compile tonight that will be the showcase room and possible one more of the maps. A 5th map will be included in 1.5 now that the graphical pipeline got updated and I compiled the shaders for it. It

I want to do all 4 of the new alpha stages. I have a backup compile I will test shortly and upload if it passes with just the alpha 1.4 showcase room.

Be patient. This compiling stuff genuinely takes a good while, and it's sometimes hard to say when it will be done

Yeah. Especially when you are updating the graphical pipeline to the project. Part of the reason why I forgo wasting an entire weekend doing a public release for 1.2 and 1.3 is because it was taking 4 hours to compile all the variations you need to do public release. I will be uploading the halloween stage shortly followed by the showcase room. I will try to compile 1.4 again tomorrow since it hit a nasty memory fault during the final lap.

Well it's almost October.  Are we going to see any Alpha backer update?

yes. I keep getting hit with 50+ hour work weeks so m6 plans during summer for updates got cut short but a lot of new assets were still created. I want to do 2 patches to the alpha 1 branch this October and show off what I have been itching towards with the alpha 2 branch that overhauls many systems codebases.

So any planned release dates for the 2 patches?

Around the 22nd for 1.3 and the 31st for 1.4. Rea (the protagonist) got a overhaul to her look and the rest of the cast are having their animations and rigs improved while I work on art and collab with the artists.

I love my main gig, but having stressful 50 hour work weeks have slowed me down drastically since I lose those precious 2 extra hours I usually reserve for game work in the fall.

This kinda stuff isn't allowed on Steam, the kink based stuff.

And I wouldn't want it there regardless. I prefer keeping my work with my tiny community and let it be known my game work is just something I do on the side outside my life and full time job.

Thats the idea. I don't like rushing a release and I always prioritize my life and my main job without risking burnout so I am generally slow till I ramp up things in October. I actually finished updating bella (the cow) to the current standard, improved the fog system and got a liquid physic and shader for the milk bottle so that's where I am at now. I am also working with my sound guy and one of my artist friends when I am not tied up.


I still have a week of training that has been going well. I don't like to go into test and labs days unprepared so I expect radio silence till I complete that.

Would you ever be willing to make a port for android

nah. the game's models are far too expensive to even consider a mobile port. Besides, I am the only programmer and 3d modeller on this small project.

I'm having difficulties getting the game to even open. what is the step by step instructions on how to get it going?

You need to make sure your gpu is on its latest stable driver and that it meets the minimum requirements (no worse then a 1070).

You also should be running the game from your primary ssd and you need to double check if you have extracted all the files where you installed the game. Make sure your anti-malware didn't mark any of the files as a false-positive.

any ideas of when 1.2 will be out? i cant wait to see where you take the storyline i have high hopes for it keep up the great work!

I am actually currently testing all the new and touched up animations in an internal build right now as I type this. I plan to test around with the 1.2 preview build and then have 1.2 released sometime late July.

My general approach has always been to flesh out the game's feature set before I really focus in on it's writing so it will still be some time till we really get script with all it's storybeats and themes in. 

How do you save? I click the button in the menu but I lose all my progress when I'm captured.

It currently is non-functional since I am heavily tweaking the levels and how data is stores

*Spoilers!* I am not sure what to do after turning the lights back on. All the doors seem to be locked with no way of progressing. am i missing something?

this game is a lot of fun! its honestly pretty scary (maybe because im kind of a baby when it comes to horror)  i just wish the saving system worked

anyways i can't wait to see what's next!

Bought the game, it's very interesting and I can't wait to see it progress (even if it makes my old laptop cry on the lowest setting), but I'm also curious if there's anything compiled and accessible about the story or plot. From what it looks like, a clear story is going to be a part of the game, and fair enough if you want to keep the story itself under wraps until the game is done, but if there is, like, a script or story, would love to find that as well.


Also, I'm assuming that, due to how early it is, the save function just doesn't work yet, which is fine, just adds to the difficulty.

yuppers there is a script we are actively monitoring and touching up that is under wraps as I develop the tech

Do I download the new demo and open it separately or does it just attach itself to the current game? Sorry if that sounds stupid, I just don't want to accidentally mess with the code by opening something I shouldn't

You extract it in a seperate folder and run the .exe for all of the releases. The game won't run if its missing anything included in the .7z

The demo won't play, it either won't do anything or the screen goes black and nothing happens then freezes.

Sounds like your system can't run it. It's settings are set to ultra and then some for that demo.

It's recommended your gpu is on the latest stable driver and you have a gpu that is around or above the performance of a 1070 for the medium settings. I recently redid a low and fisher price quality for those that fail that or on a aging laptop

The original game still works (laggy tho it is) only the demo doesn't. Should I just wait for 1.2?

I like this idea. I hope the game gets more regression and abdl stuff into the gameplay. Currently all the abdl stuff is just set dressing and game over screens and doesn't really affect anything.

Yeah, so right now a lot of the alpha work is just foundation work before we really get into the fun stuff. As the demo suggest we do have a babification and contience system getting worked on at the side as well as a fully functional cutscene system, but it can't become the focus just yet.

Yes, I have actually looked into just that when I was working with A.I, code these last few days. We will be doing that more in the alpha 2 builds. Right now the focus is more on the graphical end. Speaking of which, I am uploading a major overhaul of the graphical engine as I type this.

Will Maddie the Bear have a vore and disposal scene like that 3 part render on your your twitter? Also will the game feature any other exotic kinks like transformations and other fetishes in your previous MLP game?

Oh ha that old com. I am not against hiding away a few colorful interactions but I would make it so the player would have to explicitly enable it if I am ever supported to create a cutscene of that nature.

Can't give a timeline when it will get in but it's in the script that the cult has access to magic that can either  AR and MR their victims.

the idea in the future is that can happen by thhe upcoming mage cultist if you step on her traps or getting hit by her magic

not out yet. I am currently looking into overhauling the A.I code and getting a nice look for the game while not getting too demanding on older systems. The target is still March unless something comes up.

Idk why, but the game is still laggy. I try turning down the resolution and it crashes, same with turning it up. It'll be okay for a minute or two, then freeze then jerk all over the place (usually ending with me getting caught and having to start over)

Is it mostly in areas with a fog effect? The game is definitely not friendly with laptops and older machines. Have you updated your video driver? 

Will Windows 10 work? Apparently my dumb laptop doesn't support 11, but it'll go up to 10 which I am updating (I honestly didn't know it was a thing to manually update, shows what ik)

Upgrading from windows 7 to 10 doesn't really have a noticeable fps effect on fps performance from my experience. I wouldn't recommend anyone use 11 currently.

when will the newer versions be released? cause the alpha is still at 1.1

I am currently working with my writing friends finishing up a few alpha 2 assets and characters before I start pushing out updates. I intend to have the next 2 or 3 updates come more closely together.

1.2 should be out sometime in march with a new enemy, better ai that reacts correctly to doors and hiding and new map objectives as well as the usual fixes and Quality of Life. 

1.3 will be a bit bigger of scope and I will back port stuff in the currently experimental alpha 2 branch.

I Love the idea of a game like this and the models look pretty clean keep up the good work im gonna try it when i get the chance

you need to have unityplayer.dll in your game folder. It should be installed on your hard drive

Any walkthrough for this? I can't seem to beat the level with the 10 diapers in after the giant room. Nor figure out the island.

So, I can Save in the test room, but at no point can I save when I play Mansion 2, Plus I know it's a mechanic for the lantern to get dimmer but its fully extinguished when it's at 1/4th durability which doesn't make any sense for me.

Yeah, that's my bad on that one. The lantern will get buffed a bit and we will fix that. Save/loading is currently not working correctly on most levels.

I just played the free version and i'm wondering, if there are any first/third person "kinky scenes" planned for getting caught? That would be awesome =)

Yup, that and some mechanics is getting discussed. We are trying to theme it around each enemy personality. That will also require a good bit of coding and blender animation work from me so it might take awhile since we are prioritizing on making all the foundational stuff work as intended first.

That's really hot! <3 I hope it involves that "destroy pampers" animation that the Feature Preview Room has for going in your diaper. And a spanken from the gal who says "I hope you're ready for a good spanken!"

I can’t get it to work

Dammit all, I did it the first time, but now I can't figure out how I did the 7-Zip thing 

I do have a single thing to note, The camera position on the model feels "off" when looking down, as if your head is "too far forward". This might be my monitor trolling me though, I run a pretty wide screen

I actually will be tweaking that as well as that goofy third arm problem when looking down with a tool out

Promising alpha, made my Halloween a bit more fun. Mansion 2 was particularly cool, had the coolest sequences. Though it confused me at first the locker teleporters in that level, yknow how it changes which 2 it teleports you between depending on where you are in the level or how much you actually did. I reflexively assumed it would be a hiding mechanic, so it was actually my first instinct, causing me to skip some of the area at first. And because the unlocked door in that room is the end trigger of the chase sequence that moves your camera and teleports your character TO that room, led to a bit of confusion over what was happening.

I don't know if I really completed it or Mansion 1 though. I got to the part with the chair you can sit in, tried to get back up, got stuck clipping into it. Because you could drink in that chair I assumed the fact that my character was relaxing meant I reached the end. In Mansion 1 I got to the room with the TV and wasn't sure what to do, and since the loading screen clarifies its intended as a feature test I wasn't sure if there would *be* an ending or if I would just reach a dead end.

The tease for a "Ms. Anthrope" character in the feature demonstration coming in a future build sounds nice, and the amount of teleport triggers reserved for future builds seems promising. I would ask though if there's intentions to add more animations like the one for the "destroy your pamps" button in actual stages later on. The props and environments are very nice, and the mechanics for the game are a very solid foundation. But admittedly I am hoping for a bit more scenes of fetish content happening later on.

I'm actually still heavily tweaking that mansion stage and just added a proper reward for getting to the end in alpha 1.1 and removed that alpha 1.0 chair that hasn't been adjusted for changes I made to the player's character size.  There actually was a hiding locker by the blindfolded lynx on that stage. But I took it out since the AI behaved a bit iffy when you hid in it. There is still a dark spot you can hide from that blindfolded lynx in that area.

We will be adding a bunch more kink stuff in the upcoming builds, but the focus was on the game foundation and the look of the game for this initial alpha build.

I am super excited to see where you go with it, Hodge. Thus far the game itself feels amazing!

Tried it a few more times and yeah, the special effects from the fog seem to be causing a lot of lag, also for some reason I have to jump up the stairs, I thought maybe I was crawling but that wasn't the case. I could go DOWN without a problem, but not UP not without spamming the jump button (also noticed the stamina bar nice ;3) also if a character is chasing you and you try to go upstairs, you get stuck between the character hitting you and a invisible obstacle before the character can zero you out, you end up falling through the map and not die, you just keep falling. Oh and which button is "Pause"? It doesn't say any other except the "open inventory", but not the pause menu, so I ended up spamming a bunch of buttons until it came up. 

(Thought I'd give more of an actual report than just a single comment with a bleak description and barely any details)

I actually just decreased the particle count at the start of the demo. I still need to fix some data on that first and lakeside stage for the save system to work as currently implemented.

The stairs on that first stage is also a little iffy if you run up them or walk on the edge on them.

Escape is what is what pauses the game.

Do I have to pay for the 1.1 version as well?

nope you have access to all future versions now

Would it be possible to increase the brightness of the lamp/flashlight? Or have brightness options? Right now there is not much of a reason to use the lamp or flashlight over the lighter.

I also have had issues with the chasing characters outrunning me and not giving up chasing me. I have also had the issue where they see me, I close a door, and they are stuck perpetually running into the door (I can see their limbs clipping). That means I can never go through the door. I'm not sure if they are set to de-aggro.

Otherwise this is very promising and interesting!! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more from this.

I actually will be buffing the brightness of both the lamp and especially flashlight next alpha. It is possible to use the lamp with the flashlight when you have both. And the AI currently runs too fast and takes too long to break aggro (You currently need to break vision and doors are a bit iffy atm] that is definitely getting nerfed as the next quality of life and ai improvements is definitely  a priority.

The fog makes it lag, because when I enter the mansion it's not as laggy. Can't save and can't seem to out run the other character once they see me they always hit me, I can't get away,  they even hit me through walls. Other than those, this looks REALLY good!

I decreased the particile count on alpha 1.1! It should no longer be lagging nearly as bad on your system. The estate and lakeside stage aren't rigged to fully work with save system and I nerfed the reach and speed on all the enemies.
