Upcoming tech showcase, Alpha 1.2 and artpack update


Hey all, just doing a quick devlog to give a short tease of things we have been working for future builds of the game. By far the most important thing  we updated was the game script and we are finally getting a good feel for the scope and tone we want for the game and it's characters. We got a really nice outline for the dozen or so characters and a better idea of the island layout and the secrets we have hidden within it's mansion. 

In addition to this I have been working on additional character models and made minor improvements to the existing characters present in that first proof of concept alpha 1 build and added several outfit improvements and additions to them. I'm thinking realistically it's best I wait a build before I include them all since I need go through the trouble of reexporting them all and make all the needed  adjustment in the engine for them to function and appear as intended.


Lastly, I have been doing some work with fur shaders and cloth physics. Since the fur shader requires a good bit of legwork and optimization I will be delaying it's implementation on public builds, however I can implement the cloth physics at around the time I add in the improved models and new UI.

I'm still going through a lot of experimentation and model work, but I'm thinking I can  upload a tech showcase build that will have some of the AI, new cultist & graphical improvements. in around two weeks for all that picked up the game. 1.2 will follow with mostly QoL changes and the previously mentioned features. 1.3 will be a bit bigger in scope.
