Tech Demo has finally been released with additional features & Improvements.


Sorry for the delay. I I decided to opt for some rewrites on the new shaders since the initial implementations of them were problematic, were hard on performance and left a lot to be desired. This tech demo focuses on the new graphical pipeline, shader features like, reflective surfaces, volumetric lights & fog, weather system with day/night cycle, cutscene improvements and most importantly the new accident system for both the player and NPCs that allows for multiple levels of well... You know.

Nice tech demo i see you made progress on the game but i have a question that you probably had are there going to be any game over cutscenes?

yuppers, slowly but surely working towards that

cutscene improvements? i didnt even know there were any?

You get one when you enter the ai spawning room and another with the mess cutscene button.

I only have 24 frames in the case of the default highest quality. In some cases, it will drop to a minimum of about 8 frames.After slightly lowering the picture quality, it was found that the game locked the 30 frame limit.After many times of use, the diaper status display will be wrong, and it will keep flashing.

Yeah, I fixed that silly status display. I made a typo in the accident manager that caused the game to think to repeatedly grab a descriptor to the player's status when a messing was triggered during gameplay in the demo. I'm easing the quality on the new effects which will give a very noticeable improvement to fps even on ultra.

That demo had just about everything set to ultra for testing purposes. Honestly that was completely irresponsible on my part as the demo used many effects and didn't have the usual baking we do for regular stages.

*Edit, you will be able to play on ultra with very little drop with those specs once we are done with alpha 1.2.*

the game can't open, so what do I do?

I'm going to be patching it this early april so it's nicer on more systems.

Ya I had to put it on low to get it to run somewhat as well as the last demo, demo ran fine.  Other bugs I think were said,  Glad to play around it with. Think we need a "Look behind you button to check your rear out in the mirrors.

thats an awesome idea. It would easily be doable as it would just work into the cutscene system we got going on

Ya might be fun to have to peak if you are doing a run away from someone if it's not a cutscene.  Oh and can you please make the messing cutscene last a bit longer, or make the pamper's state change sooner?  It ends normally before anything really shows.

I intend to flesh that out more. I actually disabled the discoloration on the shader there.

I absolutely love the improvements you've added! The edition of the  babifcation and diaper status meters are a nice touch. And the accident system is good as well! I love the various portal effects, but if you get captured by any of the NPCs the restart buttons doesn't work, game just goes to a black screen. 

Keep up the amazing work, i'm loving it so far! 

If you die in the demo the game uh... Well it doesn't restart when pressing retry and has to be relaunched.

So the story of that actually is you are supposed to be taken to the loading screen when you die. Since the main menu and that are disabled you will have to relaunch. I am just including a beefed up version of this showcase room in 1.2

I will be adjusting some effects that really eat at performance and make the default the medium setting with high adding in volumetric lights and fog and ultra adding in reflective surfaces or vice versa depending on the performance hit.

it seems diaper status sometimes likes to go crazy and cycle rapidly. Unsure what is causing that. Also, interacting with the switches that require you to hold E and drag can cause a white box to become stuck in the center of your screen. Overall though, this is looking beautiful. I love the graphics work!

Fixed on both accounts! TYVM The first bug is a stupid little bug in the accident manager for the wet transition when you trigger a accident state and you already went twice. The white icon that shows during a drag is because I failed to set the drag icon that replaces the cursor when that prompts.

How do i get the fix just download it again?

No problem and ill have a look soon as I can! I didn't experience any other issues aside from those.  I WILL say that the retry button doesn't actually seem to work, but that might just be due to the lack of a main menu in the tech demo.

that's exactly why you need to alt f4 quit and restart if you KO

I figured! I had another look and honestly found nothing else wrong at all. I think everything is looking great. Keep it up!
